FAQs

Is this the same brand as Sylvia's Restaurant in New York?

Yes! We have been a family-owned business founded by Sylvia Woods, in 1962. Established in the historic village of Harlem, Sylvia’s is a community favorite, known as the world’s kitchen. Serving authentic soul food for over 55 years, this icon remains a culinary must-visit for foodies.

Are your products Gluten-Free?

Unfortunately, not at this time.

Are all products you sell listed online?

Not as of right now. In stores you can find our line of canned items, which includes a number of products, like our Specially-Seasoned Mixed Greens, Yams, Blackeye Peas, Specially-Seasoned Field Peas with Snaps, and our Hoppin' John can--with blackeye peas, tomatoes, onions and jalapenos.

Do I have to refrigerate my Cookin', Dippin' & Moppin' sauce?

Upon opening, yes. The Triple Strength Hot sauce does not require to be refrigerated, however.
